InterAct is a student-led service club that plans and performs acts of service in our community. InterAct is an international organization, and Cary Christian School’s InterAct Club is sponsored by the local Cary-Page Rotary. Projects include mentoring and tutoring with Iglesia Christiana de Cary, volunteering at Dorcas Ministries, and an annual community yard sale to benefit the ministry of Danny Rojas in Costa Rica (who partners every year with the CCS Senior Service Practicum). InterAct Club meets every other Monday morning at 7:15AM in the auditorium, beginning on August 15th.

FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes)

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes provides an excellent opportunity for students to connect with fellow student athletes. This club hosts guest speakers who share about their personal relationship with God while connecting it to their experience in sports. Students learn how to carry out their faith through the platform of athletics. FCA provides opportunity for spiritual growth and service through the avenue of sports. Some special events to look out for are worship night events (sponsored by the FCA club) and sports day service opportunities!

The Society of St. George is a student-led leadership club for high school young men. Members of the Society pledge to live out the ideals of the “Knight’s Code” and meet regularly to encourage each other in this pursuit. The Knight’s Code emphasizes the following traits: Integrity, Faithfulness, Helpfulness, Graciousness, Courtesy, Kindness, Respect for authority, Responsible Stewardship, Joy, Bravery, Cleanliness, and Piety. The Society has welcomed a variety of guest speakers, including businessmen, military officers, and missionaries. The SSG meets every other Wednesday during lunch in room 200, beginning on August 17th.

Society of St. Monica

The Society of St. Monica exists to help the young women of CCS understand that a godly woman is a wise woman. The club unites female high school students and holds them accountable to properly represent the name of Christ, which is integrated into all aspects of school and life. The students learn to radiate God’s glory within the realm of Biblical femininity and to reflect His love in their relationships with one another. The SSM meets every other Wednesday during lunch in room 216, beginning on August 17th.

Robotics Club

The CCS Robotics Club kicks off the year with the Lego FTC Robotics Competition, (video). Last year, CCS participated in the playoff round by placing second after the base tournament. After the FTC season ends in February, we learn how to build and fly RC planes and work on school related electronic projects. Robotics Club meets on Fridays from 3:45-4:45PM, with additional FTC practice sessions during fall and winter breaks.
