A Sure Foundation Building Campaign
From a mere acorn…
Cary Christian School began as an idea in 1994 and has grown steadily since its inception. From a small group of parents who desired an excellent Christian education founded upon a biblical world view to a body of over 725 presently enrolled students, God’s hand has been evident. We are now a K-12 school, having opened our doors for the first time in August, 1996. Our graduates carry with them the light of a God-illuminated education as they have become members of the larger society.
As Cary Christian School has grown over the years, our vision has remained the same…
“To graduate young men and women who think clearly and listen carefully with discernment and understanding; who reason persuasively and articulate precisely; who are capable of evaluating their entire range of experience in the light of Scripture; and who do so with eagerness, in joyful submission to God.”
Blessings and Urgency
Each year, the Cary Christian School population continues to grow. We are blessed to have an ever increasing number of families in our community who see the value of a classical and Christian approach to education. Despite the fact that we currently have 49,000 square feet of academic space, the demand continues to grow.
Our present facility, with its four soaring pillars, was not designed to meet all the demands of an expanding academic and fine arts program. The time has come to advance the vision with an extension to our current gymnasium.
THE CARY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL SURE FOUNDATION BUILDING CAMPAIGN……
This Annex to the Cary Christian School gymnasium will enhance existing programs in every area of endeavor:
- The two fully equipped science laboratories will advance our current science curriculum, enabling chemistry, biology, and physics students to learn about God's world in a more hands-on manner.
- The Annex's second floor will serve to support our growing music, drama, and fine arts programs by providing both excellent practice and performance space.
- The larger locker rooms, showers, and weight room will be a welcome addition to our athletic program.
Phase II
Annex (8,000 sQUARE feet)
Ground Floor Includes:
- Two Spacious Science Labs
- Boy’s & Girl’s Locker Rooms and Showers
- Weight Room
Upper Level Includes:
- Three Areas for Art, Chorus, and Band Classes
- Auditorium with Stage and 250 Person Seating Capacity
- Men’s & Women’s Restrooms
Extending our branches
The Cary Christian School Board has established preliminary plans for Phase III of our campus. The long term vision is to establish a high school replete with a full complement of classrooms, science and computer labs, a library, a gymnasium/auditorium, tennis courts and a natatorium, as well as additional parking and practice areas. Substantial growth will necessitate the acquisition of more land and resources.
