CCS Grandparents’ Association
Dear CCS Grandparent(s),
With the opening of the school year on August 4, Cary Christian School is celebrating 20 years of providing an excellent classical education founded upon a biblical worldview!
Over the course of those 20 years, we’ve seen incredible growth and it would not have been possible without the supportive community of our Grandparents’ Association (GPA).
From our small beginnings in 1996 the Lord has graciously grown our school from 80 students to a current enrollment of over 780 students, and what an adventure it has been! From modular rooms at Peace Presbyterian Church to our current home on 22 acres; from volleyball and basketball practices in a parking lot to a gym and field house; from drama presentations in basements to a lovely auditorium; God has indeed been most kind.
This year, we will have six CCS alumni teaching in the Phonics, Grammar, Logic and Rhetoric Schools. In addition, we will have the first child of a CCS alumna attending the school as a kindergartner. And with the graduation of the CCS Class of 2016, over 400 alumni are spread all over the country and world carrying out their callings in Christ Jesus to make life flourish in every area of human endeavor. From generation to generation, God is faithful!
The Grandparents’ Association not only monetarily supports our school, but acts as another facet of physical and spiritual support for our students. You are helping them to become the men and women of God that they were created to be.
In the history of its work with and support of the mission of CCS, we have kept our membership fees for the GPA at the low annual rate of a $50. Inevitably, expenses have increased over the past two decades; therefore we are asking that you prayerfully consider joining our Grandparents’ Association at the new rate of $75 per year, per household.
As members of the GPA, you will also be invited to Grandparents’ Day which will be held May 4th and May 5th in 2017. You will receive a Grandparents’ Association car magnet and a copy of our school publication, The Roundtable.
In His Service,
